About this site

Welcome to Animal Seekers!

This site is designed to be fun and educational. Its intent is to find, identify and photograph as many animal species as possible in their natural habitat.

The website is broken down into two parts: The first part is geared toward older kids and up. There are pages on each animal species filled with facts, photos and more meant to identify and inform, and there’s also a travel blog component where we write about animal sightings. You can also check out Animal Seekers’ YouTube page.

The second section is geared specifically for younger kids. This includes shorter animal species profiles designed for early readers grades K to 3 to read. There also are printable activities for kids and recommended books to read focused on different animals.

The content on this site is geared toward everyone, and it is designed to be family-friendly. We will only accept comments that are acceptable for kids to read and that stay on topic.

Did we get a species identification or fact wrong? Please reach out to me in the contact section below to let me know!

We hope you enjoy this site – it’s meant to be fun and informative, a chance to learn about animals and where they live in a unique way.
