Monterey Bay, California

  • Monterey Bay, California.

If you are in search of marine wildlife, Monterey Bay is one of the best places in the country to see it. In the brief time I was there, I saw sea otters, seals, sea lions, jellyfish and so much more. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must-see for animal lovers: It does an excellent job of showing off the local wildlife and even has an area you can walk up to see the ocean and lots of animals in the wild. It’s one of my favorite little zoos/aquariums in the country. Located south of San Francisco along the Pacific Coast Highway, there’s lots to do along Monterey Bay with small towns and pretty scenery all around. I visited the southern end of the bay near Monterey, California.
